Press-On Nail Guide

Our Mission
✨ Before Application
Preparing your natural nails is the most important step for long‑lasting wear.
-
Wash hands thoroughly with soap and warm water to remove dirt and oils.
-
Push back cuticles gently using a cuticle pusher.
-
Trim or file natural nails to your preferred length.
-
Lightly buff the nail surface to remove shine and help the glue adhere better.
-
Clean nails with alcohol wipes to remove any remaining oils, lotion, or dust.
-
Ensure nails are completely dry before applying glue.
-
Avoid using lotions or oils before application, as this can weaken adhesion.
💅 Application
Follow these steps for a secure, long‑lasting hold:
-
Lay out your press‑on nails in order from thumb to pinky.
-
Check sizing to ensure each nail matches your natural nail.
-
Apply a thin, even layer of nail glue to your natural nail.
-
Add a small dot of glue inside the press‑on nail for extra hold.
-
Press the nail firmly onto your natural nail for 10–20 seconds, ensuring there are no air bubbles.
-
Repeat for all nails, working one hand at a time.
-
Avoid water, steam, or heavy activity for at least 1 hour after application to allow the glue to fully cure.
🛁 Removal
Removing your press‑ons safely protects your natural nails.
-
Do not force or pull the nails off — this can damage your natural nail.
-
Soak nails in warm soapy water, cuticle oil, or an oil‑based remover for 10–15 minutes.
-
Once softened, gently lift from the sides using a cuticle stick.
-
If the nail resists, soak longer — never force removal.
-
After removal, clean your natural nails, buff lightly if needed, and moisturise with cuticle oil or hand cream.
⏳ Longevity Tips
These tips help extend the life of your press‑ons and keep them looking fresh:
-
Avoid excessive water exposure, especially in the first 24 hours.
-
Wear gloves when cleaning, washing dishes, or using chemicals.
-
Avoid using your nails as tools (opening cans, scratching off labels, etc.).
-
Apply cuticle oil daily to keep your natural nails healthy and flexible.
-
Store your press‑ons in their original box to keep them clean and protected.
-
Add a small dot of glue under any lifting edges to extend wear time.
♻️ Reusing Your Press‑Ons
Many press‑on sets can be reused with proper care.
-
Remove old glue from the back of the press‑on using a wooden stick or gentle file.
-
Store nails in a clean, dry container.
-
Use fresh glue for each re‑wear.
-
Avoid soaking press‑ons in acetone, as this can damage the design.
